Six Nations rugby fever struck at Cupernham Junior School when coaches from Romsey RFC met the talented Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 girls on the afternoons of Tuesday and Wednesday, 12th and 13th of March. This was part of the club’s participation in the RFU’s “Love Rugby” campaign. Romsey is aiming to grow an U12 girls squad next season. 

Assistant Head Kate Reilly said “All the girls have had the most brilliant time taking part in a training session with the coaches, whose enthusiasm and patience was amazing. Many of the girls are now really excited to join the sessions at Ganger Farm on Sundays.”
