    Safe, convenient transport for rugby and club-related activities

    Romsey Rugby Club’s minibus is available to support teams, volunteers and approved club activities. Whether you’re travelling to an away fixture, tournament, social event or club development activity, the minibus provides a cost-effective and practical transport solution.

     

    Who can use the minibus?

    • RRFC teams attending fixtures and tournaments

    • Club volunteers undertaking approved club activities

    • Club social and fundraising events

    • Other rugby or club-related activities approved by the club

    All bookings are subject to availability and approval.

     

    Driver requirements

    To help ensure the safety of passengers and compliance with our insurance arrangements:

    • Drivers must be approved before operating the vehicle.

    • Drivers must hold a valid UK driving licence.

    • Drivers must meet the current insurance age requirements. Please check when booking.

    • Drivers are responsible for ensuring the vehicle is operated safely and legally at all times.

    Insurance information held by the club indicates that approved drivers operate the vehicle with permission of the club and in accordance with the policy terms.

     

    Booking the minibus

    1. Submit a booking request through the club booking process.

    2. Nominate your proposed driver or drivers.

    3. Await confirmation before making travel arrangements.

    4. Complete any required online forms before collection.

    5. Ensure the vehicle is returned clean, tidy and ready for the next user.

     

    Responsibilities during hire

    The hirer and driver are expected to:

    • Drive responsibly and in accordance with road traffic legislation.

    • Ensure all passengers wear seatbelts.

    • Report any accidents, damage or defects immediately.

    • Leave the vehicle clean and free from litter.

    • Return the vehicle with a tank full of fuel unless agreed otherwise.

    • Complete any required return checks or documentation.
