Romsey Rugby Football Club are pleased to announce the coaching team for our Youth Summer Camp 2026. 

Our Summer Camp 2026 is set to take place at Ganger Farm Sports Park on 10th – 12th August 2026, with a cost of £150 per player which is required to be paid before the camp takes place.

Players can enjoy an action-packed three days of rugby where they will develop their skills and craft through elite coaching in a fun, enjoyable environment.

Over three action-packed days, players will learn from an outstanding team of international coaches, elite player developers and experienced professionals.

We have acquired the services of several highly established and influential coaches across the game of rugby both on an international level and a club level.

Firstly, the current head coach of Finland and the ex-defence coach for several national teams across Europe, Andy Barlow will play a major role in player development across the three day camp.

Joining Andy Barlow is ex-professional women’s player across France, Brazil and Portugal, Mallory Chatron. Chatron will bring a vast amount of player development expertise alongside a modern approach to coaching.

Our coaching team also consists of two South African rugby legends in Nico Le Roux and Thinus Delport. Le Roux is a high respected international coach who has extensive experience in developing young rugby players alongside years of experience coaching at the highest level, following time at Exeter Chiefs and the All Blacks. Thinus Delport is a former Springbok international and Premiership star following spells at Gloucester Rugby and Northampton Saints. Delport is also one of the UK’s most respected youth coaches.

Rounding off our coaching setup for the camp is Vicky Alexander, a leading women’s rugby coach who is passionate about developing players of all abilities and inspiring the next generation. Alexander is also currently in charge of girls’ rugby in the south of England.

Whether you’re looking to improve your passing, tackling, decision making, positional play or simply want three fantastic days of rugby, this camp is designed to help every player reach the next level.

The camp is open to boys and girls across the Under-10s to the Colts age groups and both members and non-members are welcome.
