Our 1st XV take to the Ganger Farm turf for the second week running as they host United Services, Portsmouth.

The third round of the Hampshire Counties II campaign sees our 1st XV host US Portsmouth, with kick-off at 3pm.

Jason Berry’s side currently sit four places below Saturday’s visitors after the opening two fixtures, however, despite defeat to New Milton last weekend, there were plenty of positives throughout the 80 minutes.

US Portsmouth head into Saturday afternoon’s game off the back of a convincing 65-10 victory over Southampton, however, the side did lose 39-0 to New Milton in the season opener.

1st XV coach Jason Berry’s pre-match thoughts:

Berry: “I’m really excited. It’s one of the games we’ve targeted that we can potentially win, so we’re going into this one all guns blazing.

“The lads are up for it. They haven’t lost focus on what we’re doing and we’re going to give our all on Saturday.”
